Quadriceps Muscle Strains

This injury often occurs due to rapid sprints or abrupt stops during running. A muscle strain is characterized by tenderness in a specific area of the thigh, sometimes accompanied by a noticeable swelling or bulge. Pain is intensified when lifting the thigh, performing a straight leg raise, going up or down stairs, or rising from a seated position.
