Femoral Neck Fracture

A severe impact or fall on the hip can result in a fracture of the thigh bone, commonly occurring around the femoral neck area. Improper healing of the fractured bone can potentially lead to gradual joint deterioration. Restricted or interrupted blood flow to the femoral head can cause the joint to undergo necrosis.
