Fractures/Dislocation Elbow

Elbow fractures typically occur as a result of a fall onto an outstretched arm or direct trauma to the elbow. In cases of elbow dislocations, there is a possibility of concurrent nerve or blood vessel injuries. While X-rays can often detect fractures or dislocations, smaller breaks may be challenging to identify.

Fractures demand immediate attention as they are considered emergencies, and prompt reduction (realigning the bones to facilitate healing) is necessary. Fractures occurring within the joint require special care to ensure the restoration of proper joint function.
